The Return of Rin Okumura~ [Closed/Aemi]

It was raining rather hard outside the base, Rin was only wearing his normal clothes covered buy his standard issue European Branch Black Order cloak which was matted down to his body in most places, his hands were stuffed in the pockets and his stature was rather laid back and slightly hunched over as if he were watching his feet while he walked, his sword was on his back in a red cover so that most wouldn't be able to tell right away that was his Innocence, one that Rin valued highly, he thought blue flames were bad ass. He trudged along in the rain which he hated at the moment grumbling to himself why he had to be in it. For the past month Rin had been on a mission alone, rather dangerous sending someone out alone but they were dangerously short on numbers and he was okay on his own but he got lonely at times. He entered the base and took off his cloak ringing it out right before he walked into the door, underneath his cloak he were a rather school boy-ish looking cloths, a white shirt with black pants and a black blazer with a red and black striped neck tie, of course Rin wore these loosely it was just his style, his tie was almost halfway undone. He put his cloak around his arm and set off down the well light halls of the base towards the dorms so that he could get changed and take a shower along with a slight hair cut, he had been rather busy in his travels so he didn't have much time for it, Rin kept his hair decently long but it was just a bit more unruly than it normally was, he headed off down the hall and took a left then up the stair ready to turn the corner on the stairs.

Aemi walked down the halls of the Black Order slowly and quietly as the rain poured down heavily along the tall, widened windows that followed her path. She was just returning from a mission that was on the coast of England. She had already checked in and received her pay, but now she was heading up to the third floor, over to her dorm. She was rather exhausted and more distraught than normal. She could have sworn she saw someone familiar, but he disappeared in an instant.

As she walked through the hall, she passed the many Exorcists who were crowding it, talking among themselves about future missions and past missions. She didn't want to take part in any of the conversation, even if they were saying hello. She disregarded them all quickly because she really was in a nervous mood.

She passed by Rin without noticing him -- she hadn't even talked to him much anyways. All she remembered of him was that he was the loud new exorcist boy who she gave a tour of the building to. She didn't dislike him, but she was so caught up in her thoughts at the moment, that she was unable to notice him in her path.

Rin was in a hurry no doubt but its not like he had anything to do, he still new few people and he often sat alone and enjoyed things alone, like sitting in his room on his bed staring at the ceiling or dreaming of being the best exorcist the world had ever seen, he was well on the road but the road was long and full of twists and turns, he was worn out though and looked a little beat up but not visibly, underneath his shirt most of his body was wrapped in bandages, he had went through some rather rough fights on his travels, all he could really say is that he was more than glad to be back to a place that he supposed he could call "home" for now at least. Rin looked behind him as he passed a girl that looked familiar, he gawked for a moment a little surprised that he had totally not noticed her and the fact that she had done the same and still hadn't noticed him to top it off. He stopped on a dime and turned around pointing a finger at her and in a voice loud enough for some people to hear but not a full out yell he said, "Oye! your that Aemi girl aren't you?" He stood rather tall at the end of the stairs slinging his soaking wet cloak over his shoulder and taking a normal stance, at a closer glances one would notice that his ears were slightly pointed and if he were grinning like he normally did anyone could easily see his distinctly sharp canine teeth but his mouth was closed now as his tongue ran over one of his sharp fangs wondering if she would answer him, it seemed to him that she didn't really like him or at least the last time and the first time they met she was less than happy to meet him.

Aemi continued walking until she heard the sound of the boy's voice, which caught her by surprise, making her jump slightly when he directed to her. She stopped for a moment, standing still as she continued to look across the hall before turning her attention to the boy. When she did turn around, her expression was full of sorrow, something that she would usually hide, but had forgotten to do since her mind was full of stressful thinking at the time being.

She didn't say anything to him, but simply gave him her full attention to show that she was listening. She wasn't sure what to say anyways, and like most cases, she'd probably end up saying something rude as always, because she was socially awkward like that. She was never good at making friends, which astounds her to know that she was actually capable of doing so at the first place.

She continued to watch him in silence, awaiting for him to speak once more, or at least respond to her facial expression, showing that she was in less than her best mood (and even then, she was never quite happy) and she felt miserable at the time. She wasn't even sure why, but it was just a feeling that came across her, and he managed to find her at the wrong time.

Run looked at her for a moment as his back began to get soaked from his cloak, it was a rather annoying and uncomfortable feeling, as he looked at her he could tell something was wrong but others emotions were not his strong point, this went back all the way to his childhood which would have to do with Yukio which would not be a good discussion to have with her. He began to say something but realized that be probably shouldn't but tue beginnings of his words escaped his mouth then he stopped but he though about it, "Would you like to go get lunch in a minute?" Ron said, he really did need to go back to his room and he didn't want he to wait in the hall so he would ask her to meet in the dining hall. "I umm just got back I need to shower and stuff ya know, didn't really gento talk to you much last time you seemed rather quiet and I had all this new stuff going on."

Aemi waited for his response until he finally asked his question. She wasn't sure what to say at first, but before she could say anything, he began talking once more, explaining himself. She nodded, understanding why he'd want to go to lunch now. She hadn't eaten all day herself, so she didn't mind the thought of food.

"Alright then..." she spoke very quietly before looking toward the Dining Hall. She wasn't going to lead the way, so she simply waited for him to walk past her so that she could follow him toward it. She was in a very off mood and didn't feel like taking care of things as the natural leader she thought she was.

Rim buried one of his hands in his pocket while he kept his cloak sling over his shoulder, he headed back down the stairs towards her as she stood there waiting for he, he would have felt bad now if he went back to his room, his face slowly turned to a grin as he tried to lighten to mood, a sharp fang look tooth could be seen on either side of his mouth but he didn't like it when people called him a vampire because he was clearly not a vampire. He walked right past her giving her a slight lOok as he walked by just to make sure she was following him, as he approached the last 3 steps he jumped down all the way, something he did often. He looked at her as she came down the stairs, "So what have you been up to lately Aemi? You seem a bit...down, something bothering ya?" Rin said as he began to walk backwards so he could keep eye contact but at the same time he could continue walking as he almost bumped into a few people. Rin wasn't well known around the order since he hadn't been around to long before he had to head out, in most peoples honest opinion Rin looked rather unruly due to his hair but he kinda liked it and he never gave a damn about what other people though of him anyway.

Aemi followed behind him quickly as he walked, and walked around with him until she had seen the Dining Hall ahead. She was starting to feel her hunger get the better of her as she looked around in silence, not knowing what to say. She then heard Rin ask about what was wrong with her, and it caught her off guard slightly, though she should have expected it since she was sporting a sad face the entire time.

"I really don't want to talk about it, and even if I did, I don't think you'd either understand or think I'm being serious. You'd probably just say I'm overreacting," she sighed as she tried to avoid the subject. The more she thought about the situation, the more she dreaded being where she had to be, with so many secrets kept behind her back. It was torture.

Rin grinned still as he walked into the dining hall with her right behind him, he turned to a near by coat rack that was at the entrance of the dining hall and hung his soaking wet cloak up on it so he didn't have to deal with it any more until he was headin back to his room. Rin shrugged at her, "Don't trust strangers huh? Can't really blame ya neither do I, unless I find them true worthy of course, I'm use to being alone, outcast or made fun of." he said before heading over to the line to get food, he waited with her until it was his turn to order and he did so then he stood aside as Aemi got her food then he headed over to a table where no one was sitting and sat down, looking around the hall here were a whole lot of people there and it was rather noisy, he was rather lucky to have found a table that no one was using.

Aemi got her food quickly and then strode her way to the empty cafeteria table that Rin had directed her to. She sat down across from him, staying silent as she listened to his speech about trust. She shrugged after he was done speaking, before sighing. "I don't trust anyone except for my friend Devi. She's my roommate so I guess the trust is needed anyways."

She looked around for a long moment before pursing her lips. Devi was the only person who knew of her burden that was troubling her. She wished she had more friends in times like these, because she found it rather lonely when she was upset and Devi was on missions. She thought she was just being sentimental though.

Run yawned for a second he was a bit tired then he listened to her speak, as she did he thought to himself, he had never heard of this Devi girl she poke of. Run laughed to himself for a second, "I see, My past isn't that great either, before I came here I suppose I was a bit of a punk. I got in lots of fist fights mostly with trouble makers or people who didn't like me and trust me there were a lot, my dad..." Run said as he stumbled over his words, "My dad was a priest so things were very interesting, never a dull moment when I came home with a bloody nose or a black eye and told him I slipped or something." Rin said with a slight smirk but at the same time there was a hint of sadness, Rins past was not something he liked to talk about because it would always lead to bringing up his brother.

Aemi listened to what he said about his past life and nodded. She never liked talking about her own past, but at this moment, anything else she remembered sounded better than the grief she was dealing with. She sighed as she thought about it for a moment. She nodded when she listened to his story, amused by the fact that he lied directly to a priest.

"I grew up in Japan with my brother... I had never met my parents because my father died when my mom was pregnant with me. My mom was so upset about it, she turned into an Akuma to bring him back while I was still in the womb... so now she's cursed me with this eye," she pointed to the scar that was on her above her eye when she moved her hair. It was very small and hard to see, but it was visible.

"I don't know if my mom is still alive or not. If she is, there's no doubt that she's powerful now. As for my brother... I was taken away from him when I was five years old. I haven't seen him for almost 12 years," she sighed, "Devi and Allen--" her voice cracked when she spoke of his name, "They were the only friends that I ever made while in the order.
