Forbidden Lovers Reunite(Aemi)

It had been two if note three years since Allen had last been in England. For the past two years he had been on the run from the order, well mainly from the Innocence known as Apocryphos who had been trying to merge with him and destroy his inner Noah. Whether it is fortunate or unfortunate, Apocryphos succeeded in removing Neah from Allen’s body as the two separated shortly after the confrontation. The separation of the two caused Allen’s skin to return back to its pale white appearance, but even though he lost his Noah like appearance, he did retain the powers granted to him by the 14th Noah. Allen had now returned to England after approximately three years, why he returned was unknown.

But for some unknown reason he felt like he had to go to England of all places. The only thing Allen hoped would not happen here in England is him see one of his old friends from the Order, or the girl he somewhat fell in love with other than Lenalee, Aemi Stronghold. Allen was nowhere near ready to face any of his old friends, after all how could he be? He ran away from the order after all and went missing for two whole years, even after he and Neah split he still didn’t return. After all what was someone in his position to do?

Allen’s appearance hasn’t changed much from his usual except his hair was now longer than before and his skin was once again white. He wore a black cloak similar to the order’s uniform, but this uniform completely hid his face from view. He was casually walking through the streets of England as if he wasn’t someone who was on the run.

Aemi had awoken in the small inn that she was staying in that night, in a small town near the oceans of England. She awoke to a startling nightmare, her heart beating as she looked out to see the waves crashing against the sides of the bluff. She had been sent on a mission to observe this area due to strange innocence activity... though ever since she had arrived, she had not found one bit of proof that innocence was the case. Everything seemed exceptionally ordinary.

As she awoke, her left eye began to pain once more, and she held onto it with her hand, seething for several moments. Now, of all moments, she was sensing something in the area, and it was strong. Very strong. She immediately got out of bed, getting dressed in her usual shorts, boots, halter top and her exorcist cloak. She brushed out her hair, but seemed to be in a hurry to make sure that it was in pigtails for the time being. She ran out the door, not knowing where to go first. It seemed to be late evening still -- the sun was just setting into a darkened sky. It was most likely around 9 PM, she assumed.

She started to run through the streets, following the areas where her scar pained her more. She used that as her tracking device, and it had never failed her before, despite the fact that it caused her so much pain. When she had arrived in the middle of the streets, the pain had suddenly vanished, but she could still sense the innocence. Her eyes had widened this time as she looked around. Something was strangely familiar about what she was sensing, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

Allen continued to walk around the town until he caught a glimpse of someone, could it have benn her? No way it couldn't have been Aemi, it was too much of a coincidence for it to be her. But never the less, Allen would follow the person. It wouldn't be long that he would be spotted as the girl was looking around. As he got a quick glimpse of his face, and she most likely the same of his, he noticed something weird about her eye. Allen could immediately deduce that she had a curse placed on her by an Akuma, he was sort of an expert in that field after all. But realizing that he was most likely just seen, Allen would turn around and walk away quickly. He would head into a nearby alley and jump upwards and onto the roof top. Hopefully Aemi wouldn't have noticed him after all, or kept up quickly enough to see him jump onto the roof. Allen would just sit on the roof and try to regain his composure, but as he was doing so he couldn't help but think about Aemi and everyone in the order. "Aemi-chan..."

Aemi continued walking after her pause, trying to relocate the innocence that she had sensed... It was too much of a familiarness to it. She looked around, breathing heavily from her constant running. Standing in the middle of a street once more, she noticed that it was completely empty. Little did she know that Allen was on a rooftop in her sight... She just couldn't see well in the darkness during that moment. She was watching with a blurred vision around herself.

As she tried to recollect herself, her mind once again explored possibilities for what the innocence had come from... One of them obviousl being Allen. She couldn't possibly fathom seeing him again though... She felt like she had left him to fight on his own. She knew very well that if it was him she sensed, he would avoid her. Still panting, she shook her head as she fell to her knees in the middle of the street and began crying. She could feel the nightmare she constantly had ligering once more... It felt like she was living it in that moment. Standing in the street alone, watching as the people she loved passed her by without a care.

Allen watched her from above the building. His feelings and memories were still racing in his mind. He was still unable to forgive himself for just leaving the way he did, the only person he even said goodbye to was Lenalee. But that was only because she had found him right before he left. Allen would soon snap out of his thoughts when he noticed and heard the feint crying sounds coming from Aemi.

He was now about to do something that he would most likely regret. Allen stood himself up and jumped off the building, he would land on a dumpster which would lessen the impact of his fall. He would then jump off of that and walk over to the girl crying in the middle of the street. Allen bent down in front of her and touched her with the hand that continaed his innocence, which would mostlikely reveal to her that he was Allen. "You shouldn't just break out into tears in the middle of the road miss.

You could get run over by doing such crazy things." Allen would try his hardest to play off his identity and to seem like he wasn't who he was so that she wouldn't recognize him. He would probably get away with it too if it weren't for his arm and his curse over his eye.

Aemi continued to cry until she felt a hand against her and someone softly speaking. Her cry faded as she breathed in, looking at him with a still blurred vision. At first, she thought she was imagining it... she could see the white hair and the scar on his face, but she was assuring herself that it was a mind trick. She was sensing the innocence so strongly now... his touch sent a current of chills down her spine. She looked up at him with bloodshot eyes, rubbing at them to fix her vision and immediately looked to the scar. There's no way it could have been him though, could it? She couldn't help but put her fingers to his scar, tracing along it as though a curious child. She wasn't sure herself if she was seeing things or not.

"Allen...?" she couldn't bring herself to say anything else. Even then, just saying his name made her voice crack. She couldn't believe what she was seeing... After over two years of not speaking, now he stood before her. She felt her heart beat faster once more, and now she knew -- it was really him. Now she was determined to believe it was him. Staring at him for the first time in such a long time overwhelmed her though, and she still awaited for a response from him.

Allen's eyes opened wide as she looked at him dead in the eyes, he then turned his face to look away from her. He thne let out a small gasp as she put her hand on his scar, he quicklt turned his face once again and then stood up after she said his name. He would then speak and try to change the sound of his voice, "Sorry Ma'am but I'm not this Allen person you're talking abou..." His words were cut off when his golden golem Timcampy came and landed on his head. His posture then changed and he quickly stood in a straight and awkward fashion.

He then snatched the golden golem from his head, "Timcampy! You have the worst timing ever!" Allen then pulled down his hood and his longer white hair and pale skin could be seen perfectly, along with his Akuma curse mark. Allen turned his eyes away from Aemi as he spoke to her, "Hello Aemi-chan."

Aemi's hand immediately fell from his face as he turned away anxiously and then spoke to her. At first, she nearly believed him, feeling embarrassed of the fact she had just touched a stranger's face... but then she saw Timcampy appear over his head and her heart started to beat again as she let out a very silent sigh of relief. Allen had then turned to her and said hello to her, with her name included.

When he spoke her name, she felt like she couldn't breathe again. So it really was him after all. She sat there for a moment before finally standing up in silence, tears still managing to find their way down her cheeks. She tried to say something, but no words came out in confusion -- she had no idea what to say at first. Trying to recollect her thoughts, she finally got the courage to speak her mind.

"Y--You've grown up, eh..?" her lip quivered slightly as she spoke. She couldn't believe how much older he looked. His hair had grown out and he was actually taller than her now. She couldn't have expected anything different though -- he was only 15, her being 14 when he had left the European Branch. Still... she wasn't sure why he had to run away from everything. He had so much potential to him. "Why did you run away...?"
