Forbidden Meeting // Allen Walker

Waking up with a heavy inhale, Aemi was taken back a bit by her surroundings. She was on a lone mission on the far coast of Britain, searching for some lost innocence, yet she couldn't seem to sense it anywhere. There was something strange about this place though; she felt as though it was hauntingly familiar, or that something in it was enamoring her. She couldn't bring herself to stay focused at all.

It was quite late, being around midnight, and the thick dark clouds were blocking the moonlight, making it much darker than usual. The thick, heavy rainfall was making it very hard to see, and Aemi felt like she was being drawn to the outside courtyard for some reason. Something just seemed different tonight.

Slipping out of her bed, she quickly dressed into her usual exorcist uniform and then headed out the door of the small inn that she was staying in. Right away as she exited, she was getting soaked from the rain and she took a deep breath in to let it all relax her. She then decided that she would go searching for what it was that she thought she'd find.

As she headed out toward the streets that were empty, she looked around carefully, wondering what she would find. Maybe she'd finally get to the innocence that they thought that would be there? Or maybe there were akuma around. The scar on her wrist was aching a bit, and it tended to do that when she was coming across an akuma or strong innocence. "Where are you..." she mumbled to herself.

Around the corner stood a boy of about 17 years of age. Despite that, his hair was white as can be, and his eyes were a silvery-gray color. He was looking at one of the many street clocks stationed around the area, as if he were expecting something or someone. The boy looked around constantly from time to time, as if also fearing detection. Upon seeing Aemi, his eyes widened and he seemed to freeze for a few seconds. During this course of time, one could see the pentacle 'tattoo' upon his left eye that stretched from above the eye and down to his cheek. His mouth opened slightly as if to speak, then he noticed Aemi's uniform and immediately bolted. He began to sprint away, as if Aemi was something to be terrified of.

Aemi saw something move from the corner of her eye as she briefly saw what appeared to be silver hair that turned and flashed, disappearing in an instant. Immediately, her eyes widened and as she went to say something, the thunder seemed to interrupt her. She didn't have much of another choice except to follow him. Quickly bolting after him, she made sure to track him the best she could. Where was he going and why was he running from her. "Wait!" she yelled after him, hoping she would hear him.

The boy heard Aemi yell and chase after him, only causing him to run even more faster than before. He seemed to be a rather fast person and it was nearly inhumane. The boy began to make sharp turns and occasionally circled the town as if to try and lose Aemi. It appeared as though the boy truly did not wish for her to chase him. The boy looked around wildly for some sort of place to hide. It was obvious that either the boy knew her or knew something about her that caused him discomfort. He managed to find a park and scuttled to hide under a 'dinosaur' that had a small hiding place on the bottom. It was difficult to notice unless one came very close to it, but once it was noticed anyone could see whether someone was inside or not.

He was gone. How could she lose him so foolishly? She had lost track of him after he had ran toward the park and she was frustrated that she had lost the one person she was trying to find for two years so thoughtlessly. As she had continued to run into the park, she had slipped on the wet grass and fell back, landing right on her head, causing her to have jagged breathing for a moment. As she got herself up, still sitting to try to regain herself from being a bit dizzy from the pain, she looked around.

"Please, I just need to see you," she mumbled past her teeth as she looked through the darkness. Still, there was only silence. As she got herself up, she realized how incredibly soaked she was from the rain. It was as though she had jumped into a lake. "Allen!" she screamed loudly, hoping he'd hear. "Please come back!" she spoke in a rather frustrated tone. Rubbing the back of her head, she was almost ready to give up and head back to ice it. She didn't want to though, after being this close.

Allen hesitated to move from his hiding spot. What would she do if he walked up to her? It wasn't like before when he was a fellow Exorcist of the Black Order. No, he went 'rogue', and therefore any of the Exorcists of the Black Order could either force him to come back, or kill him. Allen didn't want to do that to any of them, seeing as how they were his friends. But, he had seen how distraught Aemi seemed when he ran off and left her and his gentlemanly-side was beginning to act up, and within seconds, Allen got out from his hiding place and was walking towards Aemi.

At that moment, she turned to see that Allen was walking toward her. She blinked a few times, making sure that this was real, before taking her hand from the top of her head as she simply watched him. "...Is it really you?" she said as she took a step forward. She then stopped herself though, afraid he would run off again. "I'm not going to try to kill you or anything! Honestly, I wouldn't dare!" she put her hands up to show she wasn't meaning any harm. "I've been looking for you for over a year now without the Order's knowledge. I was afraid that they were going to execute you..." she frowned.

Allen looked as though he was still suspicious, but seemed to trust Aemi at least a little bit. He wondered why she was looking for him. Sure, she said that she was afraid the Order would carry out orders to execute him, but why was she afraid? Allen hesitated to speak, but decided it was best if he did. "Why do you care that much? If the Order finds out you found me and did nothing, they might put you in jail for not following orders. Even though it's only for a little bit, you'll definitely regret it.." he said with a frown. Allen saw that Aemi seemed friendly and he didn't want her to feel the way he did when he bimself was placed in 'jail'.

"Well..." Aemi didn't exactly know where to start. As she thought about it, she actually wasn't quite sure, really. Sure, he became a good friend of hers, but when he was transferred to the Asian Branch after the destruction of the European one, she decided to stay behind and help rebuild it. That was the last she saw of him. And after temporarily transferring to the Asian Branch with her partner, Devi, she had then discovered of his fate, being on the run.

"I just worry! You were always very nice to me, and I couldn't believe it when they said that you were dangerous and needed to be locked away," she shook her head. "And I don't care if they were to put me in jail. The only reason I've stayed as long as I have is because it would give me clues as to where you are, and where my brother is."

At this, Allen flinched a bit. Sure, they were great friends back then, but Allen still wasn't sure if she really didn't believe what the Order had said. He did not want to go back yet, as he was also afraid of hurting someone he cared about. There was Lenalee, Lavi, Crowley (I spell his name this way XD), and all the others living back at the Order who he could accidentally harm if Neah (I also spell his name this way XD) ever took over again. He doubted that the Noah had completely split from him, as it felt as though there was something remaining. Allen didn't want anyone else to get hurt because of him. He cared too much about his friends, and therefore couldn't forgive himself if he ever harmed them. Realizing that Aemi could be in danger, he jumps away and onto the top of the plastic dinosaur, asking Aemi to 'go away', seeing as how Neah could possibly turn up at any minute. "I don't want to hurt you!" he said, tears threatening to fall from his silver-gray eyes.

Aemi saw that he was nervous, so she immediately took her ring, which was filled with innocence and made it obvious that she was stowing it away into her back pocket so that it'd be hard to access. There was a long silence between them, and the frown on her face became more distince as he then jumped away, exclaiming that he didn't want to hurt her.

"Allen, please, it's fine!" she said back quickly. The rain had lightened up a bit, but the thunder was still prominent in the area. She took a step forward and held her hand out. "I trust nothing will happen. Please come down..."

Allen still looked as though he were afraid, and just shook his head stubbornly. He felt that recently anyone who came near him ended up hurt, and therefore wanted to keep himself away from other people. This was why he mostly ran from any Exorcists, even if they were his friends. It hurt Allen to leave them, but he had no choice. It was either: stay with them and watch as they get hurt, or leave them and be the only one to suffer. He decided that choice #2 seemed much more appealing than #1, seeing as he was still that kind person they all knew at the Order. "Anyone who gets close... Just ends up getting hurt. And, I don't want you to get hurt like the others." he replied with a sad frown.

"I know you won't hurt me," she said more confidently as she took another step toward him. "Please, I can't just lose you after how long I've been trying to find you." she shook her head. "Everyone misses you. Your friends would never turn you in, because you're still the same Allen we've all known!" she frowned.

Allen nearly stepped back, only to notice that there wasn't much to step on behind him. He looked back at Aemi and understood her words. He knew all of that. He knew that his friends would never do anything like that, well except maybe Kanda (XD), but that wasn't that point. The point was that Allen was beginning to think that maybe he could go back to his friends. It has been a while since he last saw Lenalee, Lavi, Crowley, Kanda, and all the others back at the Order. Maybe he could... No. Allen was still afraid. He was afraid of losing them. "I don't know about that, Aemi."

(We should have a large group of Akuma attack XD)

She frowned, finally bringing herself to approach him as the rain had come to a stop. The two were still dripping wet, so she started to ring her hair out a bit, wiping the wetness from her face. "I'm not trying to make your decision for you or have you decide right now, but you should really think about it. They miss you dearly," she said softly.

She looked down slightly, biting her lip a bit as she watched him. "I missed you, too." And before a silence could come between them and that statement, her wrist came to a burn as she gasped lightly. Something dangerously close to them was causing havoc, and it might have had something to do with the innocence she was looking for.

(Am I doing a good Allen 'impression' so far? XD)

Allen's eyes widened as his left eye began to change. The pupil became an inverted pentacle while some sort of clear gear-like objects appeared in front of it. It meant that Allen detected some Akumas nearby. It also meamt that the duo had to quickly get to the area with Akumas. "Aemi! We have to hurry and defeat those Akumas! Some people could be in danger!" Allen shouted as he hurriedly jumped down from the dinosaur and began to sprint in the area of the Akumas. His Innocence was already activated, Crown Clown beginning to cover Allen as he ran.

Innocence, Activate! Aemi had pulled her ring back on and soon, her arm was engulfed by a large, claw-like armor. She ran after Allen, toward the Akuma as she looked around to see if they were anywhere. So there was innocence here. "This is why I'm here! The innocence must be around somewhere!" she said. 

As she kept moving her feet, she could hear someone scream and she immediately turned. "This way!" she said quickly, following the sounds of terror. Her wrist began to ache again as the screaming came nearer and nearer. Biting her lip, she kept her innocence ready and headed down quickly.

Allen followed quickly, eventually reaching the area and gasped at what he saw. There were Akumas surrounding a small group of children. The children looked to only be about 5-8 years old, so they were terrified. Allen's caring side began to 'take over', as the next he knew, he was standing in between the Akumas and the children with his Crown Clown ready. "Aemi! You go for the Innocence! I'll hold out here." He was ready to use Edge End if it was necessary, and hoped that the Akumas wouldn't be too strong for him to handle.

(What levels should the Akuma be? Levels 3 and 4?)

Aemi nodded at what Allen had to say and quickly went around the perimeter, trying to find out where the innocence was. Taking a deep breath she tried to focus, getting ready as she then ran toward the shore that was near the park. Something about it was... eerie. Taking a step forward, she squinted her eyes, looking to see what there was and it was there! Innocence at the shore, ready to be taken.

Shuffling her feet, she quickly made her way down, not letting anything get in her way. It was important that she got this, otherwise the Order would be taken back a bit. When she finally arrived, she quickly took it, putting it in a special container for her backpack and then turned to see how Allen was holding up... they looked strong. Stepping forward to help again, an Akuma quickly flew in front of her, laughing maniacally. "You're not going anywhere, sweets. You took something of mine."

"Crown Belt!"
Allen managed to defeat the Level 3 Akumas by extending Crown Belt and piercing through the Akumas' chests. The only problem were the Level 4 Akumas. They were too strong for Allen to take on alone, but he did his best anyway. Allen began to use his Sword of Exorcism instead, pulling the sword out from his left arm, light showing from it as the arm slowly disappeared while the sword appeared. It was always sort of a funny feeling for Allen; turning his own arm into a sword always sent a few chills down his spine. The sword itself reminded Allen a lot of the Millennium Earl's, but he assumed it was from Neah's influence. The sword hadn't changed at all since Neah split from Allen, but he could still feel as though something was different. Allen tried to swing his sword around at the Level 4 Akumas around him in order to destroy them and free the pitiful souls inside. He remembered first seeing a Level 4 soul. It was horrible. Allen nearly vomited from how disgusting and deformed it had become. There was hardly any way to even tell that it once was a human soul.

When Aemi arrived back to the scene, she panted, looking over at Allen to see that he had defeated several of the Akuma. What was left was the level four Akuma. "Oh goodness... now what..." she had never fought one before, and it looked terrifying. "Pheonix Siren," she said quietly as her eyes had turned black and her hair white. Quickly, her suit had morphed into that of a leotard with a cape, her hands forming into Gatling guns. "May God help your soul," she whispered, readying her guns.

(How about you command the two Level 4's Allen's facing and I'll command the two Aemi will be facing? If yes, I'd like to request that you edit your last post to include the Akumas' actions .)
