Onto the Train Station (Devi and Aemi)

She stared at Lavi for a long time, his words ringing true to her. It was Devi’s first intention to warn everyone at Headquarters, but her main goal was to make sure no one got hurt but herself. She remembered Allen and Lavi’s two-sided story about when they first journeyed into the Ark. They both survived – and got stronger in the process, so he had a point – but Devi was sure the Noah got stronger after all that time, also.

Never mind that; she was given an order. Making a frustrated expression, she said, “You better make it out of this alive, Eye Patch.” With that, she ran back toward the order, closing her eyes and not looking back. Devi secretly hoped that Road would go for her instead of hurting him…

(YEEE TIME TO BE EPIC)
Before Road or Lavi could react, it seemed as though time had stopped for a moment. As the two stared at each other, seeming to do nothing, it was silent, the only sound in the distance was Devi running back to the Order. As the ground began to rumble, the three of them would most likely look around in confusion. Soon, a large blue ray of light came out from the distance and blasted toward Road, to send her back several dozen feet. Afterward, Aemi jumped forward, appearing on the horizon, holding her cannon as she smirked toward Lavi and Road, "This bitch justs loves to follow us..." she sighed as her expression changed to a serious one, "Road Kamelot, you're surrounded by exorcists. Stand down, now."

Devi halted when she felt the ground shake beneath her boots. She was unsure if she should continue to the order, or if it was safer to stay here; either way, she feared the worst. The flash of light was so fast that she almost missed it. First she looked to see what it did, and watched as it hit Road, knocking her off of her feet. As she turned to see where the light came from, she heard Aemi’s voice and saw her standing with her cannon. She smiled and whispered, “Aemi…”

Even though she was hoping to protect her and Lavi, she realized that having them in her sight means she could watch their safety, and relief washed over her. Devi felt confident that they could do this now; she didn’t have to warn Headquarters. "You're in for it now." Taking her scythe off of her back, she faced Road again and had a more defiant stance, ready to fight by her friends’ side.

Aemi immediately turned to Devi, "You get up here. You're needed. Other exorcists will show up shortly." she commanded as she looked back to Lavi and Road, "You should listen to your girlfriend sometimes when she says she knows what she's doing. Whether she's important to the mission or not, she's still strong, ya know." she winked as she ran up quickly.

Road felt herself get blasted back several dozen feet by the cannon laser and she got herself up, singed, angry, and eyes full of hatred, "Oh... if it isn't you," she spat out as she crossed her arms. Turning around quickly, she took a deep breath. As she turned back to face them once more, her face had been back to normal, as though nothing happened, "My, my... so many exorcists... whatever shall I do?" she pouted, obviously being sarcastic though.

Lavi turned to Aemi who had appeared to knock Road off of her umbrella. As she was stuck several feet back, she also noticed that Aemi addressed to him, explaining that Devi should fight with them. He also blushed to the comment girlfriend. He looked down, biting his lip uneasily to the thought of putting Devi in danger, but then it occurred to him; Devi is an exorcist and its her duty to fight. He nodded to Aemi as he turned to see Road getting up and snarling at Aemi. He smirked lightly, "Looks like someone's starting to grow irritated herself..."

Scythe in hand, Devi followed Aemi into battle. She turned to Lavi and said, "Yeah, and you should listen to her because she knows what she's saying." She smiled knowingly at him. "Thank you." She whispered.

Devi had to hold herself back from lunging at Road and ripping her apart with her bare hands for all that she's done to her friends. That wouldn't do anything but make the Noah angry, and they couldn't afford that. "We have to be careful," she said to Aemi, "there's definitely Akuma nearby and we don't know what she's planning." Devi began to take deep breaths, ready to use her innocence and incinerate the enemy at the slightest move.
