Cathy Felinius was walking down a narrow dirt path all the way in a rural part of China. She had been called here to investigate the sudden decrease of Akuma around the area. Of course, the girl was much too excited to properly induct an investigation. She had never been in China so she was excited to see what it was like. Even though she was in a rural area, Cat felt as though she had been there forever. There was grassy fields, and the occasional traveler who would say hi to her before walking onwards. At the moment, there was actually no one in sight, so Cat took this opportunity to walk out to the fields and lie down. She had been walking for quite a while, and she needed a small rest. She also took out some sort of sandwich from her bag for a snack. In case an Akuma attacked, Cat needed to at least be at half her strength.

The sun hung high in the sky clearly visible since there wasn't a single cloud in sight. It was one of those slow days where nothing was really happening there wasn't even a single breeze. On the bright side of things the brightness of the sun didn't reflect how how it actually was. If one were to walk outside they'd assume it'd be in the 90s from how bright the sun is, but it was actually in the mid 80's making it the perfect traveling temperature. A man walked down a narrow dirt path heading East toward Europe. This man was none other than Lucario Yamada.

Lucario wore his usual body mesh under a blue v-neck T-shirt with a sash around the waist, and blue pants. Though what he wore on top that clothing is a little more complex. He could be seen wearing a long, dark cloak with red clouds, a red interior, and a chin-high collar. conical straw hat with small ornamental torques and tassels hanging down over his face. His clothing covered almost every aspect of his body except his nose, and even though his eyes couldn't be seen by those around him they were able to see everything around him clearly.

He had been up the whole night before traveling trying to get away from a village that he just protected. Most people who would protect something would stay there to rest, but Lucario knew if he stayed there to long that more Akuma might attack or worse and Exorcist might show up. It's not that he hated Exorcists it was just that they tended to make Lady Luck love Lucario even less. Every Time he ran into one something bad would happen which made him start to prefer being found by Akuma since at least that way he knew what was to come. He turned his head to the left looking over his shoulder back towards the village that was no longer visible. "Well that was fun while it lasted." He mumbled then

Lucario figured he was far enough from the village to where no one would find him. He looked at the tall grassy field thinking that he better get some rest while there was no one around. Lucario walked out into the field sitting down looking into the distance. He moved his hand up removing the hat from his head exposing his crimson red eyes with three tomes around his pupil. He let out a loud yawn stretching laying back on the grass. "How do people sleep during the day." He wondered narrowing his eyes to block out some of the sunlight. Even though he had been up the entire night before running he still couldn't sleep. His body showed how tired he was, but his mind was telling him to stay awake since the sun was out. Lucarios eyes slowly began drift into a sleepy gaze, but was brought back when he turned his head catching a direction vision of the sun. His eyes closed quickly as he looked away. He knew that if he couldn't even take a simple nap without hurting himself there would be no way he could fight.

"Better try and sleep before something bad happens." He thought moving his hat over his face protecting it from the bright light that the sun was giving off. Thanks to the shade his hat was giving him Lucario quickly felt the urge to sleep hit him harder than before. His eyes relaxed as he slowly drifted off into sleep. It was risky to let ones guard down especially in the open like this. He hoped the grass would be enough to shield him from the vision of any bandits or Akuma. It had been almost an hour since he fell asleep when the sound of something moving closer to him made him alert. Whatever it was he was pretty sure it wasn't looking for him because if it was it would have been much more quieter. This thing sounded like an avalanche the way it moved through the grass till it stopped to sit down.

He didn't mind whatever or whoever it was sitting next to him since they hadn't realized that he was laying only ten feet away from them. He figured he'd just stay quiet, and fall back asleep, but as luck would have it. It wouldn't be that simple The sound of a bag being ruffled through annoyed him as he tried to sleep. He ignored the sound guessing that the animal or traveler was just trying to get something, then the chewing started. Lucarios eyes opened a little letting out a small yawn.He couldn't take it anymore he had to make his presence known."Would you mind chewing a more quietly. Kind of hard to sleep with you eating like a pig. I was having an awesome dream with these two women in sandman land and you just killed it." He stated in a half asleep tone.

Cat looked around in search of the source of the voice, and saw no one. Looking quite puzzled, she stood up and looked around again, this time noticing Lucario just a few feet away. She apologized sheepishly, saying that it had been a while since she had eaten and the sandwich she had packed gave off quite a delicious aroma. Deciding to eat more slowly and quietly, Cat sat back down and began to finish her snack. She had polished off the sandwich in only a few minutes, and seemed satisfied enough to continue her search. Deciding to ask Lucario if he knew anything, Cat began to explain to him why she was here and asked if some odd creatures appeared out of nowhere and attacked humans often around the area. She hoped Lucario knew something since her earlier attempts were in vain. No one else seemed to know about Akuma, and therefore knew nothing about this strange occurrence.

As she apologized for chewing loudly he could tell that the person next to him was a young girl which made him lower his guard. He closed his eyes enjoying the peace and quiet starting to fall asleep, but the food she was eating did smell amazing. His stomach let out a loud growl of hunger as he continued to smell the food. "Damn the smell good. Wonder what they're eating." He pondered. He tried to ignore the smell drifting slowly into sleep when he was awoken once more by the same girl talking.

"So she keeps talking. Clearly she doesn't understand the concept of someone trying to sleep." He thought. Lucario made a rather annoyed face as Cat explained why she was there, and then started to ask if he had seen any creatures that attacked humans. "She must be referring to Akuma." He thought. From how she was talking she was either with the order or with the Earl either way it wasn't good for him. He laid there on the ground not moving deciding to leave his hat over his face, since if she saw his eyes it'd lead to a big conversation that he had had to many times with people. By now Lucario had gotten so tired of it that he went an extra mile to hide his eyes which is why he wore the cloak and hat.

"Yea I know what you're talking about. They're called animals they try and attack humans when they're aggravated, and on the rare occasions when they're truly desperate for food." He stated. He lifted his hand pointing at the road. "Then there was this mean crabby old lady strange creature if you ask me. That would just yell, beat any travelers that passed her. So you might want to go hunt her down and stop her the last kid she beat didn't look to well laying in the ditch twitching." He added in a joking tone.

Cat looked stunned by Lucario's response for a few seconds, then started to laugh. She actually seemed rather amused that Lucario had made such a statement, as it caused her to laugh and giggle for a quite some time. When she recovered from her laughing fit, she apologized, then began to speak again.
"I suppose I was a bit vague. I don't mean animals or anything like that; I mean weird metallic creatures that usually have guns sticking out of them but can be different in forms. They're called 'Akuma' you see, and I'm from the Black Order, if you've heard of it. I just really need you to tell me if you've seen any so that I can find out what's causing all the Akuma in this area to slowly disappear." Cat had said, even going so far as to draw out a Level 1 Akuma in a notebook that she had retrieved from her bag. She wrote 'Akuma' in Japanese Kanji on the bottom of the drawing and smiled cheekily. The drawing was actually a rather good one; the girl seemed to have more talent than average.

"If I saw such a thing do you really think I'd be laying here trying to sleep?" He asked. If there were really such a creature he'd be long gone by now as would most people since not many people were in a rush to go to their own death. " I'm crazy, but not that crazy." He added. "Also if these so called Akuma are vanishing from the area why not just leave it alone? To me if the Akuma are just vanishing then seems like you guys should be rather happy since it'll make your job a whole lot easier." He told her. This was one of the reasons Lucario hadn't joined the Order after all these years. They always had to know everything, and even when they had someone helping them they saw it as a need to get that person to join their ranks. To Lucario the order seemed just as hell bent as the Earl to increase their numbers and obtain more power. He was so lost in his thought the he didn't hear Cat pull out a sketchbook and pencil.

Lucarios attention was drawn back to Cat as he heard the sound of paper being pressed against paper. The sound of the led tip slowly chipping away as it moved around the paper made Lucario ponder what she was drawing. The only reason he guessed she was drawing was because from the way the pencil sound was moving and how long it was taking her to do whatever she was doing she was either writing something very long, or she was drawing. The first option didn't really make sense because why would she be writing at a time like this. As the sound of the drawing faded Lucario still didn't remove the hat from his face."I'm sure it's a pretty picture, but you see this hat." He told her as he pointed to the hat over his face. "I can't see anything past it. I don't have x-ray eyes." He stated

Cat seemed to understand what Lucario meant by his first statement, but frowned when Lucario asked her why she was so worried over the Akuma disappearing. She decided that she ought to tell him the reason behind it, and began to speak. "The reason why I'm trying to find out what's behind this is so that I know whatever is destroying these Akumas isn't a threat to the Order. Whatever or whoever it is could also be an Innocence compatible and have the chance to become an Exorcist. Of course, it is always a choice and not a forced decision; if that person or thing doesn't want to become an Exorcist, they don't have to. The Order thinks it's just best to keep tabs on people with Innocence so that those people can be watched or guarded depending on which side they have joined." Then, she noticed that Lucario hadn't even glanced at her picture and when he told her why, she told him to take his hat off or lift it up enough for him to see. It seemed the most logical thing, and even if Lucario said that he hadn't heard of anything like Akumas, Cat still needed to find out if he had at least seen one or if anyone he knew had seen one.

Lucario listened as Cat explained why she wanted to know why the Akuma were vanishing. This made him even more wary of showing his eyes since he'd be the most likely suspect of why the Akuma were vanishing. He did slay an Akuma here and there but nowhere enough to get the attention of the order. Although Lucario did have only a handful encounters with the order all of them didn't go well since it always ended up with a fight, which was why he tended to look down on the order, but the way she was speaking was making the order to be such a good place. Then again most of the people he did meet from the order were just kids so they were easily brainwashed into thinking what they were doing was right.

When she finished talking Lucario almost instantly spoke. "Either way they became part of the Order no? Even if they don't join you'll still watch over and if they join the Earl you'll send in Exorcists to deal with them. So in the end you only really give them on option to either join you or lose their life. Because I'm assuming if these innocence do anything you don't like you guys will send in other Exorcists to how to put persuade them to doing what you guys think is best am I right?" He stated back to her. Lucario could see through the lines of what she meant it was either you're with them or you're dead.

Cat seemed rather annoyed that Lucario didn't even bother to look at her pic as she told him to take of his hat. "Sorry hun can't do that, I'm still trying to sleep." He replied when she told him to remove his hat. He let out a loud yawn adjusting his hands behind his head using them as a pillow. "But can't say I've seen anything like these Akuma you speak of. To tell you the truth I don't even think such a thing exist I mean they seem pretty far fetched. I've never seen one and have only ever heard of them." He told her. He was lying of course but it seemed the she believed that he was just a regular person which was a good thing for him so he'd try to keep up the charade a little longer or if possible throughout the whole encounter. It was a long shot but one he was wanting to take.

Cat listened to what Lucario was saying, and it seemed as though he was breaking down what she had just said. For some reason, a sad look appeared in her eyes, but her smile remained on her face. "Oh, I guess that's what it sounds like... Really, what I meant was that the Order is sort of desperate. The world could very well end if we don't get enough Exorcists, you see. I know what I said sounds like... Well.. What you said, but we don't exactly have any choice but to provide those choices to an Innocence compatible."

It was clear that the girl didn't really know what to say to Lucario when he told her he knew what the order was like. She said it herself they were desperate and desperate times make people do desperate things. Still though to force someone to join their side would only cause them to hate what they do and to join the other side. Then once that happened the side they were forced to join would be in great danger from all the unrest. but Lucario wasn't going to think about it to much."You guys should know now after one crises there's just going to be another one right behind it. There's always something out there trying to end the world. If it's not these Akuma you speak of it's some type of disease, or some tyrant human trying to take over the world, but even with all these threats the world seems to somehow keep spinning. If there is one thing you guys at the order should know by now it's that life will always find a way to go on." He told her in response.

Cat didn't seem to agree with Lucario's philosophy on life. In fact, she began to state her own opinion. "Actually... I disagree. Those things; diseases, some tyrannical human... All of these things are very likely to happen like you said. The only difference between this and those things are the fact that even if those things happen, humans will definitely survive. With what the Earl is planning... No one will be spared unless the Earl sees them as allies. Even then... In order to get what he wants, he may end up using his own allies as well. It's all a means to an end to him. This is why the Order are recruiting Exorcists and people to help the cause. If only you could see how happy everyone is back at home." Cat said the word 'home' with an extremely happy look in her eyes, as if the Order truly was her home.

Shizuka ran into the area, quite obviously in a bit of a hurry when he noticed two people talking not too far off from where he was. One was quite familiar and he approached her, arms crossed and scowl firmly in place. "Cat. Why are you idly chatting while an Akuma runs loose attacking those who come upon it?" He said quite firmly, which didn't really match his girly looking face. Shizuka brushed a strand of hair out of his annoyedly, still looking at Cat. He did take time to notice the other man, however. Shi wasn't one to let details escape him.

"Well sounds like the order and the Earl are two peas in a pod. Both of you use people to get what you want, only difference is that the Earl is honest about his intentions while the order hides theirs." He responded to Cat. Just as to told her that a image came to his mind but it was just a red scarf on a woman's body. A girl he het met many years ago by the name of something Farron. He couldn't remember her first name. Every time he tried to remember her or what they were to each other his mind went blank. He met her sometime after he became a wanderer and was exiled by his own family. His mistrust of the order went back to her, but he couldn't remember why he didn't trust them, he just did.

Lucarios train of thought was cut short when the sound of someone running through the grass right to them."You got to be kidding me another person? Trying to sleep with one person here was hard enough now it's going to be impossible." He thought. When the footsteps finally stopped the new arrival spoke Judging by the way the kid was talking Lucario assumed that they were an exorcist as well like the girl sitting next to him. "And they have to be another exorcist. Come on Lady Luck cut me some slack." He thought. He didn't mind being around one exorcists but two was just pushing it. Then from the kids tone he seemed rather annoying. Though those kind were usually the easiest to piss off which was what Lucario did best. Once the kid finished talking about going to hunt Akuma with her Lucario saw a chance to mess with both of them.

"Looks like duty call hun wouldn't want that what do you call it.... Akuma? Attacking people. Besides wouldn't want your boy toy her to get all jealous, judging by tone he seems rather annoyed that you're just here talking and not with him out hunting Akuma.. huh didn't know you Exorcists used Akuma hunting as dates." He told her. He closed his eyes under the hat still acting casually. "And if you two don't mind keep your Akuma hunting/ date thing pg-13. Some of us want to sleep sometime today." He told both of them. Lucario knew that he should have gotten up and left, but the grass he was laying on was extremely comfy almost like laying on a mattress in a hotel which he wasn't just about to get up, and leave because of an Akuma running about.

Cat heard Shizuka running towards her and waved at him, then wore a shocked expression when he said that an Akuma had appeared. She immediately got up to go help, and when Lucario started to speak again about dates and what-not, Cat just laughed. "I'm too young for something like that!" she giggled with a smile. At least the girl thought of the age 15 being too young for relationships and such. She waved goodbye to Lucario since Cat had to leave with Shizuka, and started to skip off towards the location Shizuka had just come from. "Come on, Shizuka! Like you said, we should be out defeating Akuma."

Shizuka didn't react to Lucario, deeming him not worthy of reaction and turned, running off to go fight the Akuma with an odd need to harm something. It had definitely been quite a while since he had used his weapon. It needed to stretch it's legs, run free for a bit. It took quite a bit to fight back the urge to transform.

"Please you kids these days try to act so mature and cool it's really sad. You kids throw yourself at each other like how a monkey throws it's own feces. I see kids your age all the time saying your in love and you guys would do anything for each other and so on and so forth." He remarked. "So don't give me that crap that you're to young because you know you'd get in a relationship at the first chance you got." He added. The person that had just arrived hadn't responded to Lucario little taunt so he figured he'd try again. "Like this kid who just showed up. Trying to act all tough, and cool for you cause. It's clear that he wants to get in your pants, which is why he came running and screaming for you." He remarked letting out a loud yawn afterwards.

Once they left Lucario sat up putting his hat back on his head tilting it down a little to hide most of his face. "Well at least they can't detect innocence worth crap." He thought. He turned his hbe ead looking at the direction they went in. "Well Luckily for me once they take care of this little Akuma for me I'll be home free to cross into Europe. Asias was fun and all but draw to much attention hopefully that won't happen in Europe." He thought. He tried to look away but his eyes were fixed on the direction the exorcists went.

It seemed that his innocence wanted just to go see the fight, but Lucario wanted to head the complete other way. He pulled out a coin flipping saying "Head we go watch and tails we go the opposite way." The coin landed on the grass making Lucario let out a loud sigh. "Swear Lady Luck hate me" He told himself. Lucario slowly stood up stretching then turned facing the direction the two exorcists went. He stood there for five minutes waiting then began to walk after them keeping a large amount of distance from them.

Cat merely rolled her eyes with a smile as she caught wind of Lucario's last few remarks regarding 'relationships'. She turned around and began to walk backwards, shouting at Lucario, "I'm not interested in a boyfriend at all! I could care less about love!" She then turned back around and ran off again towards the Akuma, not noticing Lucario following herself and Shizuka. Once Cat reached the area with the Akuma, she activated her Innocence.
"Innocence! Activate!"
Golden wings began to slowly unfold from Cat's back as light enveloped the wings for a few seconds upon activation. The girl flew upwards and began to spin, her signature move beginning to take place. "Feather Storm!"

Shizuka shook his head at Lucario's last few remarks, rolling his eyes. Yeah, no. Relationships weren't Shizuka's thing. He wasn't a fan of people, mostly because people thought that he was a female in male clothing upon first sight. At the area of the Akuma, Shizuka wasted no time activating his Innocence.
"Innocence, activate!"
His form glowed for a moment, before most of his skin and clothing were replaced by a biological armor with an arm transforming into a metallic, gauntlet-like arm. He ran his tongue over the back of his metallic middle finger. "Let's do this." Several biological swords, about three, surfaced from Shizuka's elbow in a fanning motion and he ran at the Akuma.

Lucario stopped walking as soon as the two exorcists came into to sight. He looked around seeing a huge boulder and made his way to the top of it. "And let the show begin." He thought. Lucario was rather grateful that his innocence was in his since he was able to see perfectly. He lifted his hat a little so he could see a bit more. The two exorcists already activated their innocence and were charging at the Akuma. "Hardly seems like a fair fight. two against one." He mumbled. Lucario got the feeling that it wasn't going to be a long fight since the Akuma didn't look that dangerous and most exorcists these days seemed to be able to handle large amounts of akuma at once or so it seemed to him.

[OOC: Really sorry for not replying in such a long time! D: I just got swamped with schoolwork, homework and marching band. I'll hopefully be on more but if I'm not on for more than a week, please know that I'm really sorry. >O<''']

The first few feathers that flew from her wings were aimed at the Akuma, missing their mark. However, the next few that came flying towards it seemed about to hit their target. Cat pumped up a fist for her 'victory' but was cut off when at least 8 more Akuma came flying over. Luckily, there were only two Level 2 Akuma, making defeating them not too difficult. Cat was a Level 2 Exorcist herself so she would be able to take on the Level 2 Akuma without breaking a sweat. "Shizuka! Mind taking on the Level 1's? I'll take on the Level 2's!" she shouted to her companion, dodging a few blasts from some enemy Akuma.
